Street Style, New York: 51 star-studded photos of Nicki Minaj, Julianne Moore and more outside Spring 2014 fashion week
It’s day seven of New York Fashion Week which means NYFW is officially wrapping up. With the scorching weather, everybody was happy to peel off layers and embrace the heat with summer dresses. While Miroslava Duma and Olivia Palermo showed off their toned legs in printed ensembles, a few fashion show regulars took cues from the Spring 2014 runway by pulling out pleated skirts and sheer fabrics.
Yesterday’s favourite footwear was the comfy flats and sneakers, however today, everyone was back rocking their high heels for one last hurrah. Peep-toes, heeled sandals and pumps are always popular amongst the ladies, but gladiators were the shoes that caught our attention. We loved how Eva Chen went for an edgier look as she juxtaposed her black gladiators with a floral print mini dress, but leave it to Anna Dello Russo to make our jaws drop as she traded her bedazzling leather boots for some hard-core knee-high gold metal gladiators.
We rarely see celebrities out and about fashion week, but today, stars were happy to greet awaiting admirers as they made their way to and from shows. While Nicki Minaj was seen escorted by a colour-clad entourage, the Hilton sisters were happy to stop and take selfies with fans. In case you haven’t heard, bringing kids to shows was definitely a trend this year. We spotted the gorgeous Julianne Moore in a chic minimalist outfit with her stylish 11-year daughter in white shades by her side.
So before everyone jets off to London Fashion Week, street style regulars are ending things off with a bang bringing out their finest outfits of NYFW in our latest batch of style snaps.
