Mario Dedivanovic is Launching His First Ever Makeup Brush Collection With Sephora This Month
And there's one for every need.
Getting the A-list treatment without a Hollywood address is about to become that much easier thanks to the news today that celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic has teamed up with Sephora to create his first collection of makeup brushes.
Set to launch online and in-store on Boxing Day, there are three brush sets on offer: the eye brush set (CAD$65), the complexion brush set (CAD$92) and the master brush set (CAD$158). The first two each contain six brushes to help you buff, blend, bake and more, whilst the latter set contains – you guessed it – all 12 brushes.
The collection is a special one for Dedivanovic, as he began his makeup career at Sephora as a beauty consultant. In a release, he said, “I’m delighted to be partnering with Sephora for my very first brush collection. We were able to work together to create something that seamlessly meets both my needs as an artist and gives clients the tools to create some of my most iconic looks at home.” Artemis Patrick, the EVP and chief merchandising officer of Sephora, added that Mario is “a master of his craft and has continued to set the pace for what it means to be a makeup artist in a world where social media is ever-present.”
All of the limited-edition brushes in the collection are made with vegan fibres and are finished with a brushed bronze handle for added glamour.
Dedivanovic is perhaps best known for his longtime friendship and professional relationship with Kim Kardashian West. Just last month, the pair announced the launch of a second collaboration for KKW Beauty. In a post, Dedivanovic said that upon entering his 19th year as a makeup artist he decided “to solely devote my time and energy to projects that are 100 per cent meaningful to me.”
