So I’ve never actually climbed over anything in a sequinned Dior Couture gown with a glass of wine in my hand — and you probably haven’t either. But as someone who has side-stepped over a chair because I was too lazy to shuffle to the end of the row, I can relate.

Most starlets wouldn’t be caught repeating, much less three-peating any outfit, but the comedian makes a great point about wanting to get the most bang for her buck. “This a Alexander McQueen, okay?” she said in her SNL opening monologue, “This a $4,000 dress. Imma wear this dress multiple time. I feel like if I pay good money for something, I wear it when I want, however many times I want, as long as I Febreze it.” As someone who has worn their prom dress to practically every formal event since 2012, I can most definitely relate.
