Maternity wear season has begun! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in New York City last night as part of their whirlwind Royal Tour, where they attended a charity dinner with advertising mogul Sir Martin Sorrell. Kate, who is now 5 months pregnant, wore British maternity label Seraphine‘s “Marina” coat in plum tweed, which she paired with black tights, ankle boots, Cornelia James black gloves, and her go-to boxy clutch, “Muse” by Stuart Weitzman. Kate’s no stranger to Seraphine either, having worn it during her first pregnancy as well.

The large crowd waiting outside their hotel (including a woman with life-size cardboard cutouts of the couple) was not the only warm welcome they received; the Empire State Building‘s official Twitter account tweeted: “We welcome Their #Royal Highnesses The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge by sparkling in red, white & blue. #RoyalVisitUSA” along with, you guessed it, a photo of the landmark lit up in the patriotic shades.

Today, the Duchess made her way to Harlem to visit the Northside Center for Child Development, where she wore a Goat Fashion coat in “Black Nude Washington.” She paired the coat with black tights, Episode “Angel” suede pumps, Mulberry “Bayswater” clutch, Cornelia James Gloves, and Annoushka drop pearl earrings.

The Duke and Duchess will be in New York for three days, where they’ll be staying at the Carlyle hotel. The Royal couple will end their trip on a high—and adorable—note: with a gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to support St. Andrew’s University, where they first met.
