The Kardashian-Jenners Have Split With Longtime Stylist Monica Rose

And it looks like their celebrity friends are following suit.

Amidst the disaster that was the Fyre Festival last week, some pretty big news got lost in the shuffle: the Kardashian-Jenners reportedly fired their longtime stylist, Monica Rose.

According to People, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner left Rose to “collaborate with other stylists,” though the reason for the split is unknown. (Kim and Kourtney Kardashian had already parted ways with Rose prior to all of this.) But as of Wednesday, all members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, including Kris Jenner, no longer followed Rose on Instagram, according to The Cut(Other clients of Monica’s, including Gigi and Bella Hadid and Chrissy Teigen, do not appear to be following the stylist either.)

To add to the drama, Page Six is reporting that Khloé is “furious” about the whole ordeal and wants to sue Rose over the “mysterious circumstances” that led to the breakup.

“The Kardashians/Jenners are upset because [Rose] was like family to them,” a source told the publication.

The Kardashian-Jenners have been working with Rose since 2007, after Monica styled Kim for a Complex magazine shoot. She has become known as the woman responsible for transforming the reality TV family’s style, and she’s gone on to style high-profile friends of the clan, including Teigen and the Hadids. As one insider tells Page Six, the split is “crazy,” as Rose put the Kardashian family “on the map” in the fashion world.

Though the Hadid sisters also appear to have separated from Monica (the last photo Rose has shared of Gigi was three weeks ago), it is believed the stylist still counts Cara Delevingne and Chanel Iman as clients.

A source told Page Six Friday that Teigen is still “on board,” which seems to be true (at least for now), given that Rose styled the model at the 2017 Met Gala.

So far, Rose has yet to comment on the mass exodus, or the reported lawsuit, though it will be interesting to see how the drama all unfolds in the next few weeks.
