The Final Beauty and the Beast Trailer Is Here
In case you haven’t been counting down the days to probably the most-anticipated live-action Disney reboot of the year, the latest (and final) Beauty and the Beast trailer will certainly kick things into gear.
Since the announcement of the adaptation of the 1991 classic, we’ve been teased with mini trailers, soundbites and contributors to soundtrack (ahem, Céline Dion). But for the latest trailer, we get the to see some of the best scenes in action before it hits theatres on March 17. From our fave singalong scene, “Be Our Guest,” to Emma Watson and Dan Steven’s on-screen chemistry, the magic is real. It’s also the first time we hear John Legend and Ariana Grande’s version of the iconic theme song. Oh, the feels. Sure, this video reveals many of the whimsical characters and the major scenes, but given that the film is a tale as old as time (pun intended), we’d say it’s fair game.
For the Canadians who can’t wait for the premiere date, fear not. On Family Day long weekend, Casa Loma will be hosting a Canadian-exclusive exhibition, featuring nine of the costumes from the Beauty and the Beast film, including Belle’s, Gaston’s and Le Fou’s. There will also be themed activities and special performances taking place all weekend long starting on Friday, February 17 and running through to Monday, February 20. Casa Loma will be the only place in Canada for fans to see the costumes up close, so if you don’t live in Toronto, we suggest you start booking your plane tickets.
