Beauty advent calendars have exploded in popularity over the past couple of years, with every brand releasing their own countdown to Christmas for those who’ve moved on from chocolate-filled ones. We’ve sorted through the options out there and compiled a list of our 2018 favourites based on who’s on your gift list.

The Body Shop knows how to do it up and their annual advent calendars are no exception. This $169 set, for example, is valued at $377. They also have a few cheaper options.
The Fragrance Fanatic
For the person for whom a fragrance wardrobe is a way of life, you can’t lose with these treasure troves of scents.
This calendar holds 24 days worth of perfumes, as well as hand creams and body treatments.
Diptyque’s calendar isn’t priced for the faint at heart, but it features 15 candles, seven personal fragrances and two body care items.

This set is chock-full of the apothecary brand’s skincare staples like Ultra Facial Moisturizer and Creme de Corps. We also have to credit the super cute packaging, designed by artist Andrew Bannecker.
