Textures are no new concept in the beauty world. From leather-inspired nail polish to metallic foil liner, this is not an industry that shies away from applique glue and body adhesive. Seriously, cover us in glue and we will roll around in glitter, no questions asked. That’s why we’re so smitten with the gorgeous trends coming out of New York Fashion Week this season, especially at the Rodarte Fall 2015 show earlier today. Designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy enlisted Nars makeup artist James Kaliardos and Swarovski to glue on a straight row of about ten crystals per eye underneath model’s lower lash lines, for a look that is seriously mesmerizing.

“The Swarovski crystal effect on the eye adds depth and shine to the lower lash and the glossy lip reflects the light,” said Kaliardos. Between this and the pretty caviar eyeliner at Ohne Titel, it seems that a trip to the art supply store is in order. A major bonus: this may be the most glam way to cover up under eye circles that we’ve ever seen.
