This Viral Pore Strip Removal Video Is The Grossest Thing You’ll See Today

So disgusting, yet so mesmerizing.

If you’re obsessed with Dr. Pimple Popper, you’re going to love this.

Thanks to Reddit, a pore strip removal video is going viral in all of its disgusting, yet mesmerizing glory.

The clip, which shows a slow-motion extreme close-up extraction of blackheads using Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, is downright gross, but strangely satisfying at the same time.

Here’s a quick preview of what you can expect from it (warning, if you get nauseous easily, we suggest you look away).

And here’s the video, should you be so inclined to watch the whole thing:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

But the Internet’s fascination with blackhead removal isn’t anything new — one quick peruse of your Instagram explore feed and you’ll probably find a bunch of videos of women and men using peel-off blackhead masks (and proudly showing off their extracted pores).

According to Dr. Pimple Popper (real name, Sandra Lee) herself, the reason why we’re so transfixed by these types of vids is because it gives us “an enormous feeling of satisfaction or resolution.”

“I think people get the same feeling when they’ve successfully solved a complex problem or give an excellent answer to a difficult question,” she explained to BuzzFeed News.

And truthfully, the majority of us inspect our own pore strips after removing them from our noses, so the fascination with these types of videos shouldn’t be surprising. That doesn’t make them any less gross, however.

Just remember, if you are going to use a peel-off mask, be sure to do so with caution so you don’t end up like this poor girl:
