How to Fake Fuller Lips With Makeup (If Needles Aren’t For You)

Call it the Kylie Jenner effect, but it seems like everyone these days wants bigger lips. In fact, according to a 2016 report by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than 27,000 lip procedures took place in the U.S. in 2015, with a lip procedure being performed every 20 minutes. Wowza.

The good news? You don’t actually need to augment your lips with injections if you feel your pout needs some plumping. You don’t even need a lip suction device, be it a shot glass (which we DO NOT recommend) or a plastic version. Instead, you can fake bigger lips with good old makeup, though it goes beyond just simply overlining.
