Cool cats: The Choupette Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura collection is seriously happening

Karl Lagerfeld’s famous kitty just clawed her way to her first beauty contract. Japanese brand Shu Uemura will release the Choupette Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura collection just in time for the holidays and it’s sure to cause quite a stir. The collection, called Shupette (a clever fusing of the brand and cat name), will be unveiled this fall and is rumoured to include furry false lashes.

With assistance from her two maids, Choupette has appeared in editorial shoots (including a ten page spread for V Magazine alongside Laetitia Casta), dines at the table with Lagerfeld, and has evidently stolen the designer’s heart. In a 2013 interview with CNN Lagerfeld, known for his colourful commentary, confessed he’d marry the little minx if he could.
