What made you first want to be a designer?
Watching Fashion Television with Jeanne Beker as a kid.
When you decided to become designer, what is one thing you had no idea you’d have to do?
Forgo sleeping.
If you could have anyone in the world wear your collection, who would it be?
Madonna
What is one place or location that inspires you?
New York City (which I’ve called home for the past 8 years).
What would you consider the highlight of your career so far?
Seeing my garments worn by some of my favorite celebrities like Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys has been really exciting. Doing a custom look for Andra Day for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards was definitely a highlight.
What are you most looking forward to about Toronto Fashion Week in collaboration with RE\SETTM?
My first official fashion presentation! All my previous collections have been presented in lookbook format, I have actually never done a fashion week presentation before. Looking forward to sharing my work in Toronto.
