Sid Neigum has been on a major upswing since he last showed at World MasterCard Fashion Week. His fall collection was picked up by The Room at Hudson’s Bay, debuting with a floor-to-ceiling takeover and to much fanfare (almost all of his pieces sold out in a matter of days). He then was selected as one of four winners of the DHL Exported contest, which awarded him the chance to show at London Fashion Week for Fall 2016. Upon his runway return to Toronto last night, Canada’s dark prince played it relatively safe, sticking to his old faithful—origami-like construction. Here’s your cheat sheet to what went down for Spring 2016:

The inspiration
Much like his previous collections, Neigum yet again cited modular origami and packaging design as the starting points for Spring 2016.

The soundtrack
The multi-talented designer created his own mix, a blend of classical, techno and an overdub of David Lynch’s musings while making Twin Peaks.

Wow moment
Building on his penchant for creating unique origami shapes, Neigum’s closing look was comprised of 600 modular pieces, which emulated the appearance of a fur vest.

Front row
In the age of squad domination, Neigum’s works just like a charm. His girlfriend, Beaufille designer Chloe Gordon, sat adorably flanked by her sister, co-designer Parris, and their parents in front row.
