Kate Middleton’s not the only royal with her eye on the fashion world, as it seems as though Her Majesty The Queen has taken a liking to the world of British fashion. Well, kind of.

At Rodnik’s latest showing of their Spring 2013 collection during London Fashion Week, designer Philip Colbert did what he does best, besides making great clothes, and threw a fun party that included an impersonator dressed up as Queen Elizabeth II (the label has had Kate and Pippa lookalikes in their studio as well). And if that isn’t enough, Elton John and Katy Perry impersonators were also on hand in the front row to take in the collection, as well as make for great photo ops.

Rodnik (also known as The Rodnik Band) is a collection of fashion, art and music that has been worn by many boldfaced British stars like Lily Cole, Alice Dellal and Sienna Miller. This season’s collection included an array of cheeky and sparkly dresses that made us hungry just looking at them. Models wore dresses with cheese and popcorn prints, as well as held purses shaped as blocks of cheese and legs of chicken. One model wore a silver and white dress with a big print of a washing machine on the front and had yellow dishwashing gloves to match. But our favourite had to be the banana dress that was peeled down the middle to reveal a white top and yellow bottom. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to the day we catch a glimpse of Her Majesty rocking this look.
