Sticky and humid summer days are just around the corner, and my way to combat with them is to wear pieces that are breezy and simple. My vote goes to light weight slip dresses which are perfect for everyday casual attire. I especially love wearing the dress layered over a simple T-shirt for a more laid-back, covered-up vibe. Then, with a pair of sunnies and my trusty Converse, I’m ready to hit the local parks, patios, galleries, garage sales and every corner of the city.

It’s safe to say that this will be one of those summers when I’ll be outside absorbing as many rays as possible to aid my much needed recovery from the brutal winter. My go-to ensemble this season will be a skirt and crop/sports bra combo. Of late, skirts have been making me feel so good! Add a crop-top to show a little skin and I’m one happy girl. I envision many road trips, picnic hangouts and patios will be enjoyed in this look. Happy summer!

My go-to summer outfit is anything that goes with my new Prada Saffiano Mini Galleria bag. I’ve wanted it for so long and I got it duty free (when the Euro was weak) at the airport in Paris, 30 minutes before my flight was about to take off! As a result I am embracing every single thing I can find in this blush pink colour and I am finding the more monochromatic the look, the better the bag looks!
