Watch Rihanna’s stunning “Fourfiveseconds” video featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney

After an eternity of waiting for the “Fourfiveseconds” video (okay, it’s only been a week and a half but doesn’t it feel like you’ve had the song on repeat for ages?), Rihanna released the visuals to accompany her latest single featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney.

This is the first new music we’ve gotten from Rihanna since the release of 2012’s Unapologetic. Since then, we’ve become so used to seeing her immerse herself in the fashion industry (releasing collabs with River Island, winning the CFDA Icon Award, being named the Creative Director of Puma, all that casual stuff) that we almost forgot about her, uh, day job if you will.

Thankfully, the woman knows how to make a comeback. “Fourfiveseconds” is an acoustic, country-sounding tune that showcases Rihanna’s constantly improving vocal talents. In a behind-the-scenes clip posted last week, she shared that the concept for the video was Kanye’s idea (shocking) and that he wanted to go for an all-American feel.

In the black and white video, directed by Inez & Vinoodh, Rihanna wears a vintage Sean John oversized denim jacket, baggy jeans and Timberlands, and describes denim-on-denim as a look that’s “classic, never goes out of style, […] iconic…just like the f***ing Beatles.”
