Instagram’s Latest Filter Trend is So Pretty

???

If you’re like us, you’re probably constantly looking for new ways to improve your Instagram feed. (We mean, we love you VSCOcam, but sometimes, we need to spice things up a bit.) So you can imagine our excitement when we heard of this new filter trend on the social media app: the rainbow light filter.

Do you believe in rainbow zebras? ?

The trend is exactly what it sounds like—it features a beautiful rainbow light accenting the photo, whether it be over the Instagrammer’s face or even hair. Blogger Chiara Ferragni already tried it out, so you know it’s a thing.

And TBH, it’s a great way to hop on the rainbow trend without dyeing your hair rainbow colours or, you know, posting a video of yourself using the barfing rainbows Snapchat filter.

So how do you achieve this rainbow light? Well, as Glamour U.K. suggests, you could go old school and make a rainbow with a mirror, prism or CD, but the easiest way would be to download the PicsArt app and use the free “Rainbow Dreams” sticker pack.

So go and add some more ROYGBIV to your life (and send us your pics when you do!)
