We’ve still got a winter to power through before we can even start thinking about the warmer weather, but with what we saw at the recent Spring 2016 presentations, we promise it will be well worth the wait. So to help you figure out what went down this Fashion Month, we compiled 134 runway and street style photos of fashion month’s top 10 Spring 2016 trends to help you get ahead of the game and help make winter that much more bearable knowing there is something good at the end of the dark tunnel.

Many designers are still giving us the green light that pajama dressing is totally okay for everyday wear. Slip dresses and lace nighties are easy pieces to reach for when it comes to working this trend, but take a page out of a few street style star’s look book like Eva Chen and rock a matching suit that says #IWokeUpLikeThis.

The warmer season usually calls for colourful palettes, but it looks like this season, designers are keeping it clean and crisp. White is no question a perennial fave during the summer. For his swan song, Alexander Wang celebrated his time at Balenciaga with a collection of ethereal-looking white dresses.

Victorian style looks like it’s going to have another go as well, thanks to the baroque prints and dreamy designs showcased at Erdem, Alberta Ferretti and Valentino – to name a few. But delicate and romantic looks aside, we also caught a drift of street influence on the runways where denim and hoodies played cameo in many of the designers’ collections, from creative jeans at Roberto Cavalli and to word-emblazoned sweaters at Vetements.

Dior’s chokers and Versace’s dainty scarves proved that showing off (or rather hiding) the neck was another trend being carried over into the spring. But probably the most popular body part to bare this season were the shoulders, whether it was fully exposed at Hugo Boss and Edun or playing peek-a-boo at Jil Sander and Giambatista Valli.

And is it just us or did designers look to a couple of kitchen necessities for this season’s inspo? If it wasn’t silver foil colours and textures (think Lacoste and Courrèges), it was saran wrap-like looks like at J.W. Anderson and Loewe that strutted down the runways.
