What was it like growing up with such a famous aunt?

To be honest, my childhood never felt out of the ordinary – at least from my perspective. My family is really down to earth, so I never spent too much time thinking about my aunt being famous – I saw her in a different light.

What made you decide to pursue modeling as a career path?

My mother was a model, and as a child I would always go through her photos and feel so transfixed by her beauty and completely inspired – so I followed in her footsteps, and here I am!

What is your favourite aspect of being a model?

My favourite aspect would have to be the fact that the industry gives you the opportunity work with so many creative and inspirational people – I’m often in complete awe of the people I’m now surrounded with, it’s just so much fun. And of course, the opportunity to travel so often and to such amazing places in the world, I am so grateful.

What was it like opening your first runway show?

It was super nerve-racking, but at the same time so exciting – lots of mixed emotions! It was my first ever fashion week show, so completely new territory for me, and so I’m beyond honored to have been given the opportunity. And of course, as a German, I was so thrilled for my first show to be with Marc Cain.

What is your favourite look from the show?

It’s so hard to decide as there were so many beautiful pieces that caught my eye. But I do have to say, I felt so amazing in the aqua blue printed dress that I wore on the red carpet – it would be impossible to not pick that one out. Clearly [I am] not afraid of colour!
