5 Swim Trends That We’ll be Wearing All Summer Long

We wait all year for the water to finally warm up enough that dipping a toe in isn’t torture. It’s nearly mid-July and we’ve made it (yay!). For those that are cottage bound, taking a sunny vacation or just crashing near someone else’s pool, we’ve rounded up the best suits of the season for catching a few rays and getting in those laps.

Read on for the styles you need for your most stylish summer ever.

One-Shoulder

This swimsuit style is all over the ‘gram and it’s giving us major 80’s gymnast vibes. The one shoulder strap is sexy but still sporty.

Rash Guards

This surf-inspired look is perfect if you wanna hang 10 by the beach or have fun in the sun. Most of these rash guards come with SPF built into the fabric so you’ll be protected (just don’t forget to put sunscreen everywhere else!).

Ruffles

The ruffled trend isn’t going anywhere. Pretty flounces have the power to accentuate curves or add volume where you need it most. We love the idea of wearing them as bodysuits layered with cute shorts or flowy skirts.

High Cut

The 90’s high cut one-piece is going to be your go-to swimsuit this year. Best known for it’s miracle leg-lengthening effect, it’ll be all over the beach thanks to Baywatch’s timely comeback.

Cut Outs

Offering a little more coverage, the cut out one-piece is a sexy alternative to the barely-there bikini. Wear yours with oversize is-she-famous sunglasses.
