Street Style, Milan Fashion Week: 28 of the best looks outside the Spring 2016 shows

Street Style Milan Fashion Week Spring 2016

Milan Fashion Week got off to a rather wet start on Wednesday, but the torrential downpour didn’t keep the belle donne from flaunting their finest. Over the next few days, the industry’s most stylish descended on the streets like vultures, perhaps to compensate for the several missed photo ops on MFW’s kick-off (because who would actually be down to get their hirsute Gucci loafers soaked?! #crickets).

We spotted congregations of Stella Jean and Prada disciples, decked out in bejewelled full skirts and pastel pantsuits, respectively. On the accessories front there was an emphasis on “statement making”: a slashed-up Rei Kawakubo for Louis Vuitton tote, a Chanel Flap Bag adorned in Sailor Moon keychains, and Anna Dello Russo’s “Anna” belt, which clearly speaks to the personalization trend we’re loving ATM.

Some of our fave #MFW looks were spotted on Giovanna Battaglia, Veronika Heilbrunner, Gilda Ambrosio, Diletta Bonaiuti, and FASHION’s very own Bernadette Morra. Of course, the list goes on, but you’ll have to click through the gallery to find out our top picks.
