They’re not only crazy talented, this year’s Olympic athletes are also seriously stylish. While we may not understand all the technical aspects involved in certain summer sports like fencing (seriously, what’s an appel?), we consider ourselves pros when it comes to designer duds. With the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro right around the corner, we’re breaking down the best looks.

Team Canada is reppin’ its home and native land in outfits designed by Canadian company DSquared2. Produced by Hudson’s Bay, the uniforms feature traditional colours, red and white, and signature maple leaf embellishments. The 2016 Canadian Beach Volleyball Team also keeps it stylish in custom Lululemon gear. The uniforms incorporate technical fabrics with functional designs, and were developed with real-time feedback from the athletes.

Ralph Lauren keeps it preppy and cool with Team USA’s uniform. The look includes striped belts, button down shirts, white shorts and the classic Polo logo.

France’s uniforms are once again designed by Lacoste. The athletes will be wearing white polos featuring the signature crocodile emblem, white cut-offs and navy rain-resistant jackets.

Stella McCartney collaborates with Adidas to create a patriotic look for Great Britain. Their light-weight, synthetic uniforms feature a newly designed coat of arms and an assortment of leggings, tees, sweatshirts and sports bras in Union Jack colours: red, white and blue.

Team Sweden keeps it colourful in a vibrant yellow and navy uniforms created by Swedish retailer H&M.

From sunglasses to polo shirts, Team Italy’s Emporio Armani uniforms from their EA7 Sportswear collection are very chic.

Similar to Team USA, Team Australia’s Sportscraft-designed uniforms use a preppy aesthetic that features pinstripes and silk scarves.

For the first time, Team Cuba’s uniform will be designed by Christian Louboutin in collaboration with Sporty Henri. The shoes are bound to look fab!
