Montreal: Le tout de Fashion Week parties at Fullum & Holt

A great ending to Montreal Fashion Week: Denis Gagnon’s runway show and after-party at the Fullum & Holt factory last Thursday! After regaining consciousness from the hypnotic and impressive fashion show (read all about it on Shirine’s blog), people woke up slowly to tunes mixed by Thomas Von Party while greeting friends and acquaintances on the temporary catwalk that crossed the factory.

Surrounded by electric wires and plugs hanging from the ceiling, sewing machines and the savage smells of leather, partying in the Fullum & Holt factory might have been the best idea out of MFW in a long time. Not that we don’t enjoy the seaside of the Old Port and its mansion, the Marché Bonsecours, but it’s become so formal after the years and the off-site parties are always in well-known bar. What a pleasure it is to feel like an intruder in another world. Here, I’m a factory worker enjoying bar service from Baldwin Barmacie.

The party went on til the weeee hours of the night with models, fashionistas and many fashion designers and comrades of Denis, who I bet were really curious to see what it was all about. Montreal was glamorous to the bone at the Fullum & Holt factory and it was a very nice sight to see.
