Kourtney Kardashian Shares Her Styling Tips for Her Latest Denim Must-Have
Now that spring is officially here, we can finally say buh-bye to our winter coats! Can I get a hell yeah?
A denim jacket is this season’s answer to just about any fashion dilemma. You can wear it day or night, dress it up or down and best of all, it makes you look like a street style star simply by throwing one on. (Bonus points for throwing on a pair of mirrored sunnies, too).
Kourtney Kardashian is a big fan of all things denim, especially super shredded jeans. But this spring, the 37-year-old reality star/entrepreneur/mom has found a new must-have: the boyfriend jean jacket. Think slightly slouchy and perfectly worn-in. It’s the ultimate layering piece and the eldest Kardashian has currently been coveting this fresh look.
She recently wore a faded white version with a body-con LBD and thigh high lace-up stiletto boots for a night on the town. “Lately, I’ve been wearing boyfriend jean jackets with everything! The oversized styles are a great spring layer to wear over your shoulders,” she wrote on her app.
Kardashian often mixes denim with lace which creates a sexy, textured look. “I’ve been wearing my Pablo oversized jean jacket with really dressed up looks,” she wrote on her app, referring to brother-in-law Kanye West’s merchandise. She also calls out several other labels in her denim post including Saint Laurent, Topshop, Stella McCartney, Madewell and Good American (the later is her sister Khloé’s denim label).
Cut-off denim shorts are on Kardashian’s style menu, too, and she wears them with a light wash denim jacket and a mesh top. When it comes to washes, she tends to choose lived-in looks rather than crisp dark wash denim.
Even Penelope, her four-year-old daughter with Scott Disick, has been snapped wearing a faded denim jacket. Her adorable kiddie version features her name emblazoned across the back and an assortment of patches including roses, shells and stars. Clearly, she’s following in her famous mama’s footsteps when it comes to everyday staples.
