H&M’s Studio Collection Is Giving Us All the Fall Feels

Stylist Ludivine Poiblanc brings her cool yet powerful and feminine style to H&M's Studio Collection.

H&M presents its Studio Collection each year during Paris Fashion Week. It’s always one of the buzziest shows, with plenty of front-row star power. For its Fall 2017 collection, sold in select stores and online as of September 14, the design team worked with French-born, New York-based stylist Ludivine Poiblanc. “Ludivine’s personal style is cool and powerful yet feminine,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, head of design for H&M. The looks feature hand-painted graffiti and jacquards with frayed edges, but there’s also an emphasis on tailoring to enhance the female silhouette. And fall’s must-have check pattern makes an appearance for good reason. “Traditional checks look very good on tailored pieces,” says Wohlfahrt. “In combination with softer silhouettes, this gives the wearer a gamine look.” Noted.
