Fash Points: Gigi and Bella Hadid’s Cousin Lands Modelling Contract, Emily Ratajkowski to Launch Swimsuit Line

And Elsa Hosk will be wearing a special Swarovski showpiece at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Here are all the top fashion stories you need to know today:

Bella and Gigi Hadid’s body-positive Dutch cousin is now a model

Good genes don’t just run in the Hadid family — they’re in the van den Herik fam, too. Turns out Gigi and Bella Hadid have a Dutch cousin on their mother Yolanda Hadid’s (née van den Herik) side who is also a model. Her name is Joann van den Herik and she’s the 18-year-old daughter of Leo van den Herik (Yolanda’s brother) and was just signed on as a plus-size model with 12+ UK Model Management. And Joann is not just a pretty face — she also actively promotes body positivity on her Instagram page, which we’re all for. (Cosmopolitan U.K.)

Emily Ratajkowski is launching a swimsuit line

THIS WEEK @inamorataswim

A post shared by Emily Ratajkowski (@emrata) on

Emily Ratajkowski is known for her sexy bikini photos on Instagram, so it makes sense the model and actress is trying her hand at designing swimwear. She first alluded to the brand by posting — what else? — some ~*sultry*~ bikini pics and vids of herself, tagging @inamorataswim. According to Us Weekly, Inamorata is registered to EmRata Holdings LLC., meaning this is, indeed, Ratajkowski’s brand. And by the looks of the bikini-filled Inamorata ‘gram, the sexy swimwear will be available “soon”. Stay tuned. (Us Weekly)

Moncler is parting ways with Thom Browne and Giambattista Valli

Moncler is officially ending its partnership with designers Thom Browne and Giambattista Valli. Browne and Valli have been longtime creative directors of Moncler’s ready-to-wear runway Gamme Bleu and Gamme Rouge sub-labels.

“Both Giambattista and Thom agreed with me that Moncler had to move on towards new challenges,” Remo Ruffini, Moncler president and chief executive told the Business of Fashion. “It has been a true honour for me to have worked with such unique talents and I am enormously grateful to Giambattista and Thom for their extraordinary work at Moncler. I will for sure miss both a lot.”

As for Moncler’s future plans following this shift? Ruffini declined to share, but many are speculating more frequent launches from the brand. (Business of Fashion)

Elsa Hosk will wear Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’s Swarovski look in Shanghai

The fantasy bra isn’t the only top honour for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — there will also be a special Swarovski look on the sexiest runway in the world in honour of the 15-year-old partnership between the lingerie giant and crystal company. Who will be donning this special anniversary showpiece, which features more than 275,000 crystals? None other than VS Angel, Elsa Hosk. Here’s hoping she’s gotten enough workouts in to wear the 14-pound wings! (WWD)
