Proof Gigi and Bella Hadid are the Least Competitive Sisters Ever
No sibling rivalry here.
If you have a sibling, you know the rivalry between the two of you can get pretty intense. And when you’re from a famous family, the intensity multiplies tremendously, not just because you’re most likely competing for the spotlight, but also because the media tends to pit you against each other — especially if you’re women (just look at all the tabloid stories about Kylie Jenner coming after half-sister Kim Kardashian West’s throne, for example).
But when it comes to Gigi and Bella Hadid, supermodel siblings and daughters of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Yolanda Hadid and real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, there is no rivalry in sight. In fact, Gigi (22) and Bella (20) are perfect examples of sisters supporting each other and being genuinely happy for each other’s success. And if one of them were to fall, the other would be right there to help.
Don’t believe us? Just look at the literal sibling support that occurred during Anna Sui’s spring/summer 2018 show during New York Fashion Week. Both Gigi and Bella walked the runway, but Gigi experienced a bit of a wardrobe malfunction, losing a platform shoe along the way. However, Bella saved the day, assisting her sissy during the finale walk.

But that’s not the only time the Hadids have publicly showed support for each other. Though Gigi was the first of the Hadid siblings to hit the fashion spotlight, once Bella became a model, her elder sister was her biggest supporter. To this day, Gigi still proudly posts photos of her younger sis, celebrating her modelling milestones.
And Bella referred to Gigi as her “my best friend FOR F**king LIFE!!!!!!!! My role model! My person” in a heartfelt birthday post on Instagram.
So any time you start to feel competitive with your sister (or brother), just think of the Hadid siblings, who despite working in the same industry, find it in themselves to realize their own worth and not feel the need to compete.
