Editor’s picks: Our favourite looks from Spring Couture 2016

If there’s one thing we look forward to in dreary January, it’s Couture week. But instead of just being the usual OTT fare, there were a few surprises. The totally chill bridal get-up complete with hoodie at Chanel made us wonder if Karl got a memo from Kanye, while the bevy of sleek pantsuits totally disrupted our expectations. Nonetheless, designers did not disappoint—we’re predicting some of these pieces to end up on the backs of A-listers on the red carpet. “This collection was titled “Blooming Ashes” and featured plenty of grey, laser-cut leather, and so much nipple. The show opened with this grey bra top + half-sheer pencil skirt combo that I find myself surprisingly drawn to. Apparently I’m a bigger fan of the naked dress than I thought. Call it the Kardashian effect.”
