Toronto Fashion Week has grown to such heights that now hundreds of people are milling about David Pecaut Sqaure. With so many glamorous bodies posing coyly or flicking through their phones, it was the perfect time to strike. We hit up some of the busy-bods outside of the tents to see what brought them to fashion week and get their thoughts on the loveable circus we call World MasterCard Fashion Week. Read on!

What are you wearing?
Goran hat, frames are from Clearly Contacts, the jacket is from an event that we did with Nike, Zana Robe pants and New Balance custom sneakers that say Air Jeezy on the back.

Favourite item?
Probably the shoes, it’s pretty cool having your own custom shoes.

Who are you coming to see or what are you doing at the tents?
StyleDemocracy tries to cover all the events for fashion week and try to keep our readers informed of what’s happening in the city.

What do you like about Toronto Fashion Week?
I love all the people and it’s really the best networking for people in the fashion world. You get to meet everybody, see everybody and connect and find out what everyone is doing.

What’s your fave spring trend?
I guess varsity jackets, I’ve been wearing them everyday. I’ve got nine or ten of them, I have a problem.

The coat is actually Only, the jumpsuit is Aritzia, my cell phone is J Crew and my shoes are Aldo.

Favourite item?
The jumpsuit.

Who are you coming to see or what are you doing at the tents?
I’m the designer for the nail look for Mikhael Kale, Line Knitwear, Pink Tartan, David Dixon, Rudsak and Hilary MacMillan.

What do you like about Toronto Fashion Week?
The excitement, as a nail artist this is where I find all of my creative inspiration this is a great way to fuel my batteries for the year.

What’s your fave spring trend?
I like a high waisted skirt with a crop top and for nails: nude nail polish like Spin The Bottle by Essie.

My boots are Doc Martens, Topshop jacket, turtleneck Thomas Balint and the skirt is Zara.

Favourite item?
Probably the turtleneck and my Doc Marten boots.

Who are you coming to see or what are you doing at the tents?
Coordinating media for the shows represented by The Collections.

What do you like about Toronto Fashion Week?
I kind of like the fact that because we are in Canada the clothes are more catered to the cold weather.

What’s your fave spring trend?
I don’t know about everybody else but I kind of want to do the colour blocking with the shoes the skirt and the tomboy thing.

What do you like about Toronto Fashion Week?
I think it’s the biggest fashion event in the city you have to love it.

What’s your fave spring trend?
Spring trend should be pleated skirts.

Jacket is MiuMiu, Peter Pilotto for Target shirt, Aime skirt, Zara clutch and Barbara Bui heels. I’d have to say the skirt, it’s the center-piece.

Who are you coming to see or what are you doing at the tents?
I’m here with my sister in law, Monica Mei of Aime Luxury to see the Farley Chatto show.

What do you like about Toronto Fashion Week?
The glamour and going to parties with my sis-in-law Monica Mei! She’s my in, I’m so boring and finance-y. I wore a suit to work and I love dressing up to go with her.

What’s your fave spring trend?
Right now I gotta say I’m loving the crop top with a high waisted skirt. And I’m loving everything studs.
