Charlotte Tilbury’s New Magic Serum Has a Waitlist of Over 8,000 People
Launching today, the serum is unlike any you've seen before.
When beauty maestro Charlotte Tilbury launches a new product, people pay attention. More than 8,000 people, to be exact. Today, Tilbury is launching her first ever face serum – called the Magic Serum Crystal Elixir – and as with all things Tilbury touches, it sounds incredible.
The serum has been designed to deliver hydrated, youthful-looking skin and was developed with global experts and facialists to ensure it met “the most universal skin concerns,” according to a release. In fact, in a virtual press preview last week, Charlotte shared that while she was testing the product, her friends were pestering her to reveal her skin secret thanks to her disappearing pores and overall glow. Now, it’s available in a pretty little bottle.
The serum contains the brand’s Magic 8 complex (which is also present in her legendary Magic Cream), as well as a combination of next-level ingredients for top-notch results. The formula contains a groundbreaking peptide blend of Replexium to help reduce wrinkles (by 34% no less), polyglutamic acid (which is derived from soybeans and is four times for hydrating than hyaluronic acid) to significantly improve hydration, golden Vitamin C (a potent form of Vitamin C bound with gold for targeted penetration) and niacinamide to help even skin tone, and plant adaptogen extracts of First Snow Lotus and Resurrection Leaf to help retain moisture and enhance radiance. And no, that’s not all.
The formula has also been infused with a crystal complex. Fusing holistic wellbeing with scientific skincare, the new Magic Serum contains moonstone, ruby, rose quartz, crystal quartz and amethyst. In a release, Tilbury explained her approach saying. “While developing my supercharged serum with scientists, I wanted to ensure that my expert, science-powered formula captured not only the latest innovations in technology and the best of modern biocosmetic science, but also the spiritual/mythical power of crystals.”
