The Beauty Products We’ll Be Using All Month Long

FASHION‘s beauty team is made up of Beauty Director Lesa Hannah and Beauty Editor Suzie Michael. Each month, they’ll be discussing their favourite new products (whether they’re new-new or just new to them).

Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist

Rare is the product from this brand that I don’t drain to its very last drop once I try it. The latest one that sputtered its last breath is this mist, which is actually described on the brand’s site as a “liquid moisturizer.” It’s a two phase formula that includes their patented healing mineral water and oils like wheatgerm, rosehip and avocado. You shake the bottle to mix them and then mist yourself with abandon. Or at least, that’s what I do, which is probably why I need a Costco-size version. —L.H.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

After lusting after and stalking Glow Recipe’s sleeping mask on Instagram all summer long, the brand finally launched in Sephora Canada last month, and I got my hands on the product as soon as I could. (Literally. I dashed off a flight and headed straight from the airport to a media dinner with brand founders Sarah Lee and Christine Chang.) I was half-expecting the sleeping mask to be overhyped, simply because of its insane Instagram presence, but it actually lived up to its hype—and then some. The watermelon scent is light and fresh and doesn’t linger, the jelly texture is instantly hydrating but not sticky or heavy, and my skin always feels smooth and refreshed the morning after I use it. And while a little certainly goes a long way, you really can’t overdo it either. Foolproof. —S.M.
