Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic 2017: 20 Stunning Shots From the Event’s 10th Anniversary

When you’re Veuve Clicquot—purveyors of the finest champagne in the world, adored by royals and rappers alike—anniversaries are considered a huge deal. And by huge, we are talking massive.

This past Saturday, the 245-year-old French brand celebrated its 10th annual Polo Classic with a star-studded gathering at Liberty State Park in New Jersey. A whopping 10,000 guests congregated for one of the biggest social events of the year, enjoying endless glasses of bubbly (Yellow Label and Rosé were being poured out of six-litre bottles and guests indulged in glasses of the new Rich and Rich Rosé over ice) and watching Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras commanded the field on horseback along with his equally stunning wife, Delfina Blaquier.

As is the case every year, there was no shortage of A-listers in attendance: Nicole Kidman, Priyanka Chopra and Lucy Hale were just three of the many celebs who lounged in the VIP tent. Actor Luke Evans, who dropped by Veuve’s Polo Eve party at the 1 Hotel in Brooklyn the night prior, posed for pictures with the event’s host, Neil Patrick Harris, and actor Andrew Rannells. But the biggest surprise by far was the presence of Kendall Jenner. The model, flanked by hairstylist Jen Atkin and writer/editor Derek Blasberg, was styled in a Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress paired with white boots.

To wrap things up, 15-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, in all of her no-makeup glory, took to the stage to perform a handful of songs, including, naturally, “Empire State of Mind.” This year’s Polo Classic supported the Keep a Child Alive initiative, which Keys co-founded in 2013, as well as Friends of Liberty State Park.
