Take a peek inside Swarovski’s TIFF fashion suite
Every year at the film festival, Swarovski hosts a gifting and lending suite where talent can come in, take a look around and borrow some ice for the red carpet. This year, the items in the lounge from the fall collection had a distinct ice queen feel to them – think Anne Hathaway as the white queen in Alice in Wonderland, or better yet, Tilda Swinton as the White Witch in The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.
Maybe even more swoon worthy was the Atelier Swarovski collection, a designer range that has seen creations from Christopher Kane, Matthew Williamson and Jason Wu. This year, they introduced a heritage section to the lounge, which chronicles the story of Daniel Swarovski–from the very beginning with the Swarovski crystal, to the iconic mouse figurine, to the Majesty ring, which Jennifer Hudson wore to accept her Oscar in 2007.
Visitors to the lounge included Catherine Deneuve, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Katie Boland and Lucy Punch.
