Are fashionable walking canes and casts in our near future? Donna Karan, who this week sported a walking cane and a giant black cast at the Tribeca Film Festival, said that her accident-prone nature has her rethinking the design of casts:
“I’ve broken too many bones. I’ve broken both of my knees, my tibia, my wrist, my finger. I’ve had so many casts I’m bored! I’m going to redesign them. I’ve decided.”
