Lady Gaga may have been laying low for the past two years, but don’t let her down time fool you. The popstar’s wisely planned comeback is in full swing and boy is she dressing the part. In a mere 24 hours, Gaga’s released a new video for her song “Applause,” landed a spot on iTunes’ Top 10 chart and made television and radio appearances- all in killer high fashion looks (were most excited about the latter).

The singer arrived at the Good Morning America studios in something pleasantly Gaga-esque. The star dazzled in a white custom-made structured jacket and matching gloves by Mathieu Mirano. Though the look was true to Gaga’s head-turning style, her makeup was soft with minimal blush and rosy pink lips. The long, voluminous locks we saw in the music video were cropped off in favour of a sleek blond pixie cut. Gaga’s vibrant “Applause” album art may have the entertainer’s typical shock-factor but as she exited the ABC Times Square Studios, Gaga was the definition of demure. Well, by her standards at least. The star ditched her morning palette of all white for a black Balenciaga dress from the Resort 2014 collection which she paired with heels by Ruthie Davis.

The singer kept us on our toes with a third wardrobe change for her arrival at New York’s Z100 Radio. Balmain was Gaga’s label of choice for the appearance. She paired a pleated long-sleeved top (featuring the brand’s signature structured shoulders) with a draped mini skirt and leather platform boots. Next the singer made her way to the Sirius XM Radio headquarters where she flaunted her fourth, may we repeat, her fourth, wardrobe change of the day. Again she opted for Balmain, with a turtleneck and pants ensemble that had the star looking more covered up than we’ve ever seen her. Both looks had the wow-factor we were looking for, but lacked the customized-appeal of her Mirano ensemble (Kate Bosworth and Zoe Saldana have worn similar pieces by Balmain). Either way, Gaga’s back and she want us to know it.
