The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are about ready to wrap up their three-day trip in New York City. The Royal couple began the festivities on Saturday, for their first official visit to The Big Apple, marking 25 years after Princess Diana came to New York City in 1989.

Today saw Will and Kate brave the bitter wind and pouring rain as they visited the National September 11th Memorial Museum, located at the former World Trade Center site. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left flowers  and toured the museum, signing their names at the end of the tour. For the occasion, Kate opted for a bright pink Mulberry coat with a Seraphine maternity dress, a gold necklace, Cornelia James gloves as well as a Mulberry black clutch.

Next, the couple went to the lobby of America’s tallest building before heading to The Door, a charity that supports deprived children in the city and aims to improve their lives. Will and Kate attend a reception at NeueHouse celebrating the wealth of British Talent in the Creative Industries based in New York where they met Sir Patrick Stewart.

Prince William was solo at the Innovation is GREAT Reception dinner hosted by Shutterstock at The Empire State Building, however he quickly made friends as the The Mayor of New York City joined him.

The couple will conclude their trip attending a fundraiser at the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight. The gala will help raise money for the University of St. Andrews, the Scottish institution where William and Kate first met. They will be joined by Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks whose daughter attends the university.

Not bad for a couple of days in the city.
