This Year’s Kardashian Christmas Card Shows Just How Much the Family Has Changed
Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or somehow manage to avoid the Kardashian/Jenners altogether, to which we say, kudos), you’ll know that the first family of reality television has been teasing their annual Christmas card since the beginning of the month. Rather than go their usual route of one family photo, however, this year, the Karjenners are teasing new images of their family each day for the “25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS.”
Photographed by Eli Russell Linnetz, the director behind Kanye West’s “Fade” music video, the minimalistic series is a far cry from Kardashian cards of Christmas past. Gone are the ornate backdrops and lavish gowns — this time around, everything is photographed on a white backdrop with each family member wearing denim and white. This new “direction” is proof the Kardashian Jenner clan has come a long way since it first came into the spotlight 10 years ago.

Though this year’s card was originally supposed to be “Women & Kids” only (sorry, Rob), Kanye West made a surprise appearance on day 11, and re-appeared on days 16 and 18. The other family members who have appeared so far are Kim Kardashian West and her kids, North and Saint West, Kourtney Kardashian and her kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick, Khloe Kardashian (who, though supposedly pregnant, doesn’t appear to be with child in the photos), Kris Jenner, M.J. Shannon (mother to Kris Jenner) and Dream Kardashian (daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, both of whom are not in the card… nor do we expect them to be).
Noticeably absent, however? Kylie Jenner, who is also rumoured to be pregnant. Could day 25 be the big pregnancy reveal (and confirmation) we’ve all been waiting for. It would make for a very Merry Christmas, indeed.
