Harry Styles Doesn’t Feel the Need to Define His Sexuality, Thank You Very Much

As he shouldn't.

It’s safe to say Harry Styles is everywhere lately. With the release of his his debut solo self-titled album, the 23-year-old British heartthrob has been making the rounds in the media circuit, doing plenty of interviews to promote his new music and speaking candidly on a variety of topics, most recently, his sexuality.

In an interview with The Sun, the former One Direction member said he’s “never felt the need” to define his sexual orientation.

“I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself,” he told The Sun.

When asked about singer Miley Cyrus coming out as pansexual, the “Sign of the Times” singer said, “everyone should just be who they want to be.”

“Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive. People doing stuff like that is great,” he said. “It’s tough to justify somebody having to answer to someone else about stuff like that.”

Styles, who has previously been linked to Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner and is rumoured to be currently dating food blogger, Tess Ward, previously shot down rumours that he was bisexual in 2013.

“Bisexual? Me? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure I’m not,” he told British GQ.

However, in 2014, he joked about sleeping with guys in a Sun interview, saying, “don’t knock it til you try it.”

But regardless of what he has said in the past, or at the present, Harry’s sexuality, as with anyone else’s, is his own business, and it’s his choice whether or not he chooses to disclose details about it.

So yeah, Harry Styles doesn’t feel the need to define his sexuality, thank you very much. And that’s perfectly OK.
