Celeb Spy: TIFF edition
Running into a celeb this week is like running into a Starbucks: They’re everywhere! Here’s where the chic set have been spotted:
Entourage’s Kevin Dillon was slinging drinks behind the bar at Brant House on Friday night.
John Malkovich was seen in an SUV approaching Spice Route for the Burn After Reading after party and made fun of a fan who was knocking on his car window for an autograph.
Brad Pitt stopped by Sotto Sotto on Saturday night on his way out of town with an entourage of about six people. (Our spies can guarantee Jen Aniston was not sharing a moment there with her ex.) Pitt had a bodyguard perched outside their semi-private room, to block swarming fans, natch. Upon leaving the resto, our spy, who said Pitt looked very handsome in a white button-down shirt, noticed a massive semi-circle of girls awaiting his exit out the front doors and the paparazzi were ready for a quick snap. (We were told he went through the back.)
Jack White was eating dinner at Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse on Saturday.
A rather conservative-looking LeBron James was hanging at the VIP bar at Brassaii on Saturday night. Also in attendance, Robin Thicke, who performed in the outdoor courtyard that eve, and an extremely low-key Edward Norton, who commented on the male bartender’s watch. (Said bartender barely recognized the star while he was serving him.) Looks like he wanted to do some shopping while in town.
Adrien Brody, Kate Beckinsale, Alan Alda and Vera Farmiga were at Sopra Upper Lounge on Sunday night for the cast dinner of Nothing but the Truth.
John Legend, Wyclef Jean, The Soup’s Joel McHale, Russell Peters, Ka’naan and hockey great Darryl Sittler attended the One x One gala at Maple Leaf Gardens, where Matt Damon hosted an auction to raise money for the children of Africa.
Jessica Biel and Colin Firth, co-stars in the new flick Easy Virtue, which just premiered at the film fest, had dinner at Grace on College Street.
Ted Danson, not watching where he was going, walked into an unsuspecting female traveler at Pearson International Airport.
