TIFF 2015 celebrity beauty: All the looks we’d love to see on the red carpet this year

High ponytails are a great way to style second, or even third day hair that has the right amount of sheen to hold everything in place. The key is to use a dry shampoo such as Batiste Blush. Like Ellen Page, Kristen Stewart embraces the grunge look. I would like to see her look softer by taking out the edges of her cut and brushing it out to allow for more flow and movement. –Darrell Redleaf

Rachel McAdams

“I’m convinced that Rachel McAdams has never had a bad hair day – she’s often seen with retro curls or a fabulous updo. However, we have yet to see this Canadian beauty in a more laid-back look. This fall, we’re seeing models on the runway (think Michael Kors) with neatly tucked hair in a low textured ponytail. Hair will stay away from the skin and face, perfect for dealing with paparazzi and adoring fans.” –Paul Venoit

Rachel McAdams is a risk-taker when it comes to hairstyles. She could pull off shaving one side. –Darrell Redleaf

Rachel Weisz

“Rachel Weisz is often the belle of the ball, with her chocolate locks and berry lips. Although she’s always on trend, she can take it one step further and try adding a bit more shine to her shadows. Metallic eyeshadows can make anybody look like a rockstar.” –Paul Venoit

Aside from wanting to Rachel Weisz grow out her hair, in regards to makeup, she should try a darker lip this season. –Darrell Redleaf

Sandra Bullock

“Sandra Bullock is a woman who always steals the spotlight and looks great in pretty much anything. I’d love to see her accessorize her hair with beaded headbands or clips; this will give the simple hair the sparkle that it needs. This fall, elegant jewellery can go beyond the ears, neck and wrists.”

Sandra Bullock always works a straight hairstyle that is often too dark, in my opinion. I would add texture volume and highlights. And since she often wears it down, I would pull it back into a chignon for an elegant touch. –Darrell Redleaf

Sarah Silverman

“Who says silly girls can’t look polished and tamed? With her bold, black hair and personality, we’d love to see Sarah Silverman with a sleek do. Sarah can easily pull off straight glossy hair – a much needed change from her usual tousled waves or her fun ponytail.” –Paul Venoit

Sarah Silverman always has dark, long hair, so would love to see her try highlights to help give depth and dimension in photos – medium to chocolate brown highlights would do that. When it comes to makeup, she keeps it pretty neutral. A bold red lip would be a nice twist. –Darrell Redleaf

She looks best as a blonde! Since she usually wears it down in waves, she could pull off a super pin-straight ‘90s look. A sleek cut would look amazing on her. –Darrell Redleaf

She looks great with her hair pulled off her face. Since she has such delicate features, she would look stunning in a sleek pulled back chignon or ponytail.
