Street Style, Milan Fashion Week Beauty: All the Bright Lipstick Your Heart Desires
We’ve been talking a lot about embracing your hair’s natural texture over the past few seasons, and we’ve certainly seen that attitude seep into the street style scene at New York and London. But perhaps nowhere else has there been such a laissez-faire approach to hair as Milan Fashion Week.
Rather than elaborate updos, blown out hair, or perfect ringlets, the women outside the shows at Milan Fashion Week kept it simple, opting instead to go with the flow of their natural strands, embracing any imperfect kinks along the way. In fact, we only spotted one head of pastel hair. One!
On the makeup front—and this should come as no surprise, given the fact that we’re talking about Milan—but a swipe of red lipstick on a bare face was the look. Besides, who has time for a full face of makeup when there’s wine to drink and pasta to eat?
