“Not using conditioner is like putting your makeup on without moisturizer,” says Justin German, celebrity hairstylist and Pantene Consulting Stylist. However, 55 per cent of Canadian households still don’t use this product on the regular. The reason? They don’t think they need it: they’ve had a bad experience or they’ve picked the wrong products.
FIGHT FRIZZ
With warmer weather comes humidity, and that unfortunately means strands are more prone to frizz.
PRO TIP: Prep your hair with a frizz-fighting conditioner, and then use a cream-based product before styling to make hair more manageable. These products will not only smooth down the hair cuticle but also hydrate strands for a beautiful, shiny finish.

Got dry strands, split ends and breakage from winter’s cold weather? Undo the damage by using a nourishing conditioner and then safely detangle your hair with a leave-in spray that doubles as a heat protectant.
PRO TIP: To keep things really smooth, blow-dry with the nozzle facing downwards to prevent frizz and fly-aways.

The key is to find a lightweight, volumizing formula that won’t weigh your hair down. Amp up the volume even more with a body-boosting mousse before blow-drying.
