Surprise! Glossier Now Sells Body Products
Glossier is known for giving us dewy, glowy skin on our faces, but what about our bodies? After all, as the brand’s cofounder, Emily Weiss, told us at the Glossier Toronto pop-up earlier this week, “Toronto girls are super interested in skincare,” which obviously goes way beyond the visage.
Well, now the brand is bringing the dew to our bods, introducing two new “Body Hero” bodycare products: a Daily Oil Wash and a Daily Perfecting Cream.
Both Body Hero products are inspired by oil cleansers and creams used above the neck. The Daily Oil Wash contains a seven-oil blend, including coconut, sesame, grapefruit and sunflower seed oils, to remove grime and sweat, but not moisture. It turns into a nice, soft froth that washes off without stripping your skin of its natural oils. The Daily Perfecting Cream provides all-day hydration and contains light-reflecting particles for that dewy glow we were talking about earlier. And the best part? There’s no residue, meaning you can easily get dressed after applying. Both have the soft scent of neroli, so it feels truly luxe.
But it’s not just the products we’re excited about! There’s a lot to be said about the Body Hero campaign images, which includes a diverse range of women, of different races, sizes and body types.
It’s safe to say Glossier nailed phase three.
