Antiaging LED Goggles are Coming to Sephora

It’s safe to say our (ring) fingers get a workout when it comes to taking care of the skin around our eyes — gently tapping countless serums and eye creams is a common occurrence, especially for those of us wishing to fight signs of aging (hello, crows feet!) and fatigue. And even though there are some devices out there to help us apply these products sans fingers (like FOREO’s Iris Eye Massager), it still requires the use of our hands.

However, Dr. Dennis Gross is looking to change this, with the launch of a hands-free antiaging device: the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro.

The futuristic-looking goggles feature three different types of red LED lights to gradually reduce eye-area wrinkles, according to WWDIf used daily for three minutes, users are said to see a reduction in sun damage in the first two weeks and then a reduction in wrinkles and increased collagen production after the first month.

“The opportunity to improve your skin by doing something for three minutes a day is a no-brainer,” Gross told WWD. “Most people spend more than that brushing their teeth, and you can do this while you’re brushing your teeth.”

It’s also sharable, meaning it can be worn both by you, your roommate or your significant other, as it adjusts to everyone’s face.

SpectraLite EyeCare Pro is set to launch in Sephora come April, and will retail for $159USD.
