Designer Jenifer Forrest came to my attention because of her floral-print clutches (shown, $100)—the perfect way to introduce one of the hottest trends of this season into my wardrobe. The Longview, Alta., native-cum-Torontonian designs under the moniker Bennie and Olive (bennieandolive.com) and offers a laundry list of items, including handbags, belt buckles and home accessories. Nature is clearly close to the designer’s heart: It also inspired her new collection of limited-edition poplar tree–print clutches.
