Why do you think Liz Claiborne is such an iconic brand? “She invented separates—and became every woman’s best friend. She offered quality at the right price.”
 
What three words best describe Liz Claiborne—the woman, not the brand. “Smart, snappy and sensible.”
 
What was your inspiration behind the spring collection? “I am always inspired by many things, but this season colour inspired me!”
 
Do you think uniform dressing still exists? “Not really. Nowadays, when you see a woman in uniform, I feel like it’s different because the woman usually makes it her own somehow.”
