Victoria Beckham’s Epic New Target Commercial Will Make You Want to Turn Up the Volume and Dance

Spice Girls fans, prepare to freak out.

Spice up your life!

That’s exactly what Victoria Beckham wants us all to do—preferably wearing a piece or two from her highly anticipated collab collection with Target, VBXTarget. With more than 105 pieces in the line-up, including childrenswear and plus-size (it runs up to 3X) and prices topping out at $70 dollars, the 42-year-old designer has made all of our fashion dreams come true.

Beckham unveiled the collection at a preview yesterday in New York (you can check out the entire collection here), and highlights include a floral romper, a scalloped top, a matchy-matchy preppy gingham look and an Instagram-worthy embellished bug print bomber jacket. As for the inspo behind this buzzy collection? The former Spice Girl’s five-year-old daughter Harper played a starring role—she even has a go-to look from the collection. “Harper’s been really involved in the design process,” she told Vogue. “Her favourite is a dress [with] little bunnies on the collar.”

As for Beckham’s fave outfit, the star posted a photo on Instagram wearing it. “My favorite look from my Target collection #callalilly X VB,” she captioned it.

Ok, so we’re freaking out about the fashion BUT we’re also really freaking out about Beckham’s just-released Target commercial. Two words: SPICE GIRLS.

The epic 30-second video is set to the 90s British pop girl group’s hit song Spice Up Your Life. Beckham’s first-ever televised ad playfully winks at her Spice Girl roots—and we can’t get enough. “I’m proud of my past, and I’m still very close to the other girls [in the group]; when we started talking about the music, Target said, ‘We tend to like ’90s pop songs,’ and I said, ‘Hello! I’ve got some contacts,” Beckham told Refinery 29. “The Spice Girls were so much about girl power and fun, and there’s an energy that the song brings to the ad; you can’t help but smile and dance.”

The VBXTarget collection hits Target stores on April 9th (and select pieces will also be available on victoriabeckham.com), but until then we’ll be playing this epic throwback commercial on repeat. Check it out below. Hi Ci Ya! Hold Tight!
