There’s something bittersweet about the Canadian National Exhibition, a.k.a The CNE, a.k.a The Ex. Let’s examine. First, it’s delightful—cotton candy, ferris wheels and rides, deep-fried everything. But on the other hand, it marks the end of summer, which is horrifying and just all-around the worst.
