8 Times Camo Print Reported for Duty at Fashion Week

In Futures song Low Life, The Weeknd sings, “I’m camo’ed all out like I’m in the military”. This lyric was the anthem for the street style pros at fashion week.

Military references tend to turn up every season.  On the fall runways, Public School used the popular print to support their politically charged NYFW show, pairing a metallic camo dress with a baseball cap that read “Make America New York”.  Valentino followed suit using camo and other military references (trenches, patches, olive greens) in their Resort show to celebrate the new diplomatic relationship forged between the USA and Cuba.

Politically driven or not, the camo print reported for duty at Kenzo, Rag & Bone and Yeezy too. As the military trend hit the streets, we saw it in oversize puffers, parachute pants and more utility jackets than we could count.
