British songstress Rita Ora is the latest face of Roberto Cavalli. This collaboration, shot by renowned photographer Francesco Carrozzini, has been expected since evidence of the shoot was posted on Instagram back in April. However it does come as a surprise that Roberto Cavalli, who recently bashed designers for using celebrities in advertising, would choose Rita Ora (otherwise known as Rihanna Lite) for his own brand. If you can’t beat ’em join ’em, right?


The Rita Ora for Roberto Cavalli campaign is very, well, Cavalli, with the songstress lounging, laughing and posing in the Italian fashion house’s bold Fall 2014 collection, sporting an ultra-light Monroe-esque ‘do.

The 23-year-old singer teased followers with a possible Rita Ora for Roberto Cavalli partnership when she posted a behind-the-scenes shot with Cavalli’s wife and business partner, Eva Cavalli, back in April. In her caption she playfully gave away the pending campaign release, “Get ready bots we might have another surprise for you.”
